The Slovenian platform formerly known as BunnyCDN: 119+ PoPs in 82 countries, 250+ Tbps of capacity, delivery from $0.01/GB with a volume network from half a cent, and, its most radical feature, every capability included on every plan with a $1 monthly minimum. Some 85,000 businesses later, the budget option keeps topping independent performance rankings.

What bunny.net is
The hop that ate the budget market.
Started in Ljubljana in 2015 by a developer priced out of the incumbents, bunny.net grew from eight PoPs into a 250+ Tbps platform serving 85,000+ businesses, including names like Hyundai and NexusMods, while keeping the founding thesis intact: transparent pricing, no contracts, no feature gates, no sales calls unless you want one.
Two networks, one honest menu
The Standard network prices by region from $0.01/GB in North America and Europe across all 119+ PoPs; the Volume network trades breadth for a flat global rate from $0.005/GB, falling toward $0.002 at petabyte scale, built for video and big downloads.
Every feature, every plan
Edge rules, image optimization hooks, DDoS protection, signed URLs, instant purge: nothing is gated behind a tier, and pull zones can be scoped to only the regions you actually serve, a granularity most rivals simply don’t offer.
A platform, not just a pipe
Bunny Storage moves bytes to the CDN for free, Bunny Stream bundles the player and transcoding at no charge, Bunny Shield adds a WAF with a free tier, and the free DNS is scriptable, an unusually complete estate at this price point.
Fast where it counts, EU where it matters
Independent rankings like CDNPerf repeatedly place it among the fastest networks measured, and Slovenian incorporation puts the whole platform under EU data-protection law, a quiet bonus for European buyers.

DELIVERY & MEDIAThe core of the business
Bunny CDN· Standard & Volume networks
Pull-zone delivery across 119+ PoPs (Standard) or the flat-rate high-bandwidth Volume network; Perma-Cache persists objects at the edge for cache-hit ratios above 92% on long-tail content.
Core
Bunny Stream· video hosting
Upload, transcode, protect and play video with the player and transcoding included free; you pay storage plus delivery at CDN rates, radically simple video economics.
Core
Bunny Optimizer· image pipeline
On-the-fly WebP/AVIF conversion, resizing and quality control per site, a flat-fee add-on that often pays for itself in bandwidth.
Add-on
PLATFORMAround the delivery core
Bunny Storage· edge-replicated origin
HDD from $0.01/GB-month, SSD for hot content, geo-replication, and free internal transfer into the CDN, the anti-S3-egress play.
Core
Edge Scripting & Magic Containers· compute
Deno-based edge functions across all PoPs plus Docker containers deployed globally without code changes, useful, but the ceiling arrives faster than on Workers-class platforms.
Maturing
Bunny Shield· WAF, DDoS, bot
A newer security layer: baseline WAF rules and DDoS protection free, with custom rules, smarter bot detection and rate limiting on paid tiers.
Included / Add-on
Bunny DNS· free, scriptable
Anycast authoritative DNS at no charge, with scriptable records, health checks and geo-routing, though we still advise a second independent provider for resilience.

BENCHMARKED
$0.01/GB Standard, NA & Europe
$0.005/GB Volume network entry rate
$1monthly minimum, PAYG
$0.002/GB Volume at petabyte scale
No feature gates, no contracts
Everything ships on every plan; usage is pay-as-you-go above a $1 minimum, and enterprise deals exist only when you want them. Set that against a platform charging for programmability rather than bytes in bunny.net vs Fastly.
Region-scoped pull zones
Serve Europe only? Disable the expensive regions and pay the European rate, granularity most providers can’t or won’t offer.
Free storage-to-CDN transfer
Origins on Bunny Storage feed the CDN at zero internal cost, restructuring the bill for media libraries versus hyperscaler origins.
Standard rates climb by region
The famous $0.01 is the NA/EU figure; Asia-Pacific, South America and the Middle East price several times higher. Model your real mix.
The Volume network is small on purpose
Roughly ten high-bandwidth sites: superb $/GB for downloads and video, but a thinner latency map, know which network each zone should ride.
Enterprise scaffolding is light
Custom SLAs, procurement processes and named support exist but are young; above serious scale, price the organizational risk alongside the savings.
bunny.net is not sold through our resale tiers, so our role here is pure advisory: we benchmark it against the 25+ provider field on your traffic profile, model the Standard-versus-Volume split honestly, and tell you where the budget champion genuinely wins.

Working with them
Docs, humans, status.
Documentation
Clean docs and one of the most pleasant dashboards in the industry; the third-party tutorial ecosystem is thinner than Cloudflare’s, plan for that at 2 a.m.
Support
Ticket-based support with a strong responsiveness reputation among developers; formal SLA-backed support is where the enterprise gap shows.
Transparency
Public status, public per-region price list, and independent CDNPerf rankings anyone can check, the whole pitch is verifiable.
Onboarding
Pull zone to production in minutes, WordPress and framework integrations everywhere, and a 14-day trial without a card.
The verdict
Where it wins. Where it doesn’t.
The two-minute version we give clients before the numbers.
Wins: developer-led teams and SaaS
Self-serve, fully scriptable, honestly priced and genuinely fast, the default recommendation when engineering owns the CDN decision and traffic is under serious enterprise scale.
Wins: bandwidth-heavy, price-sensitive delivery
Video platforms, download portals and media libraries ride the Volume network toward half a cent per gigabyte, with free storage-to-CDN transfer stacking the savings.
Wins: simple video products on Bunny Stream
Free player and transcoding with pay-per-byte economics makes small and mid-size video products viable that hyperscaler math would kill.
Loses: heavyweight enterprise procurement
Where the buyer needs deep SLAs, professional services, compliance ceremony and a decade of references at massive scale, incumbents still hold the ground, priced accordingly.
Loses: edge-compute-first architectures
If the app logic lives at the edge, Deno scripting and Magic Containers hit their ceiling well before Workers-class runtimes do.
Loses: mainland-China-first audiences
No in-country delivery; a China-first audience means pairing with an in-country specialist.

bunny.net in context.
Where this profile connects to the rest of our research.
What’s the difference between the Standard and Volume networks?
Standard uses the full 119+ PoP map and prices by region, from $0.01/GB in North America and Europe, higher in Asia-Pacific, South America and the Middle East. Volume is a deliberately small set of roughly ten high-bandwidth sites at a flat global rate from $0.005/GB, dropping toward $0.002 at petabyte scale. Latency-sensitive traffic rides Standard; big files and video ride Volume.
Is bunny.net reliable enough for production at scale?
Some 85,000 businesses run on it, including recognizable names like Hyundai and NexusMods, the platform reported serving over 80 billion requests monthly in early 2026, and independent CDNPerf rankings consistently place it among the fastest networks. The honest caveat isn’t the network, it’s the lighter enterprise scaffolding around it.
What does it really cost?
Pay-as-you-go above a $1 monthly minimum. The trap to avoid is assuming the famous $0.01/GB applies globally, regional Standard rates climb severalfold outside NA/EU. The trick to use is region-scoping: disable regions you don’t serve and pay only for the map you use.
Does the EU base matter?
BunnyWay d.o.o. is incorporated in Slovenia, inside the EU, which places the platform under EU data-protection law. For European buyers with GDPR-sensitive workloads it simplifies the conversation, similar to the argument for Gcore, at an even lower price point.
Where’s the ceiling?
Three places: edge compute (Deno scripting and containers cover rewrites, auth and routing, not complex applications), enterprise process (young SLAs and services), and mainland China (none). If none of those three is your constraint, the savings are usually real.
